Terms for using FindBPM and its audio analysis tools

These Terms of Service govern your use of FindBPM ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
FindBPM provides browser-based tools for estimating an audio file's tempo (BPM), musical key, and other musical characteristics. The analyzer processes the file you select locally in your browser instead of uploading it to our servers for analysis.
Results are estimates and may vary with recording quality, musical style, file format, and browser capabilities. Tempo can be interpreted at half or double the perceived beat, and key or mood estimates may differ from a listener's judgment. Use your own judgment when applying results to mixing, practice, or other work.
We do not guarantee that every file will be supported or that every result will be accurate or complete.
You retain your rights in the audio you analyze. Selecting a file for local analysis does not transfer ownership to FindBPM or grant us permission to publish or distribute it. You are responsible for having the rights or permission needed to use that file.
The website's branding and original content belong to their respective owners. Third-party software and models remain subject to their own licenses. Using FindBPM does not give you rights to someone else's music or other protected material.
You must not use FindBPM to violate applicable law or another person's rights, distribute malicious code, bypass security controls, access systems without authorization, or disrupt the service for others.
Automated requests must respect our published crawling rules and must not overload or interfere with the website.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies, browser storage, and analytics. Local audio processing does not mean that ordinary website visits generate no usage or technical data.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, or legal obligations.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FindBPM is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by reliance on analysis results or interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
We may revise these terms as the service changes. The latest revision date is shown at the top of this page. Please review the terms before continuing to use the service after an update.
