How FindBPM handles your information and local audio analysis

Welcome to FindBPM ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit findbpm.net and use our audio analysis tools.
The BPM analyzer reads and analyzes the audio file you select on your own device, inside your browser. It does not upload that audio file to our servers for analysis. Your browser downloads the software and models needed to run the analysis locally.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message. Please avoid sending sensitive information or audio files that are not needed to resolve your request.
Website delivery and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, requested pages, and errors. We use Microsoft Clarity when enabled to understand page interactions, including clicks, scrolling, and session replays. This website usage information is separate from the audio file processed locally.
Cookies and similar browser storage can support preferences, security, and analytics. See our Cookie Policy and Microsoft's description of Clarity data collection.
We use information to deliver and protect the website, respond to support requests, understand how the tools are used, and identify usability or performance problems.
Service providers that support hosting, security, email delivery, and analytics may process information needed for those services. Microsoft processes Clarity data under its own Privacy Statement. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud or security incidents.
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here or applicable legal requirements. The local analyzer does not create a server-side copy of your selected audio file. We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.
FindBPM is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and address the request.
You can control cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
